My passion for turf management started before I could even reach the mower handles. What began as helping my parents and taking on part-time jobs in high school quickly evolved into an obsession with the perfect lawn.
The real turning point happened at Busch Stadium. While watching the St. Louis Cardinals, I found myself mesmerized by the pristine, professional-grade grass. I realized then that I didn’t just want to mow yards—I wanted to deliver that same “Big League” caliber of excellence to my own customers.
To turn that passion into a profession, I traded guesswork for expertise. I earned my degree in Commercial Turf and Grounds from State Technical College of Missouri, gaining the technical licensing and scientific foundation necessary to master Central Missouri’s unique soil and climate.
